The hotel is located in the heart of the city's thriving retail and theater district
with shopping, dining, arts and visitor attractions nearby. It is only one mile from
Seattle's Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the ocean (Puget Sound). It offers
classic Pacific Rim styling, extravagant modern appointments and uncompromising
personal service.
WSDM is holding a block of rooms at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. These single/double rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at a discounted rate of $155 per night. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.
Reservation deadline is January 20, 2012.
Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing/email by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel.
In the event that you find a lower room rate, please make the reservation at the lower rate and notify us immediately. By doing this you will receive the lower rate and be counted towards the WSDM room block.
Free wireless Internet access will be available in all conference meeting rooms. Conference attendees within the WSDM block will also have free Internet access in the hotel sleeping rooms.
The Grand Hyatt Seattle requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. The hotel will send out e-mail confirmations upon request.
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel 24 hours prior to your arrival date in order to avoid a cancellation fee. Remember to get a cancellation number.
